• Overview for Providers. PaySpan Health is a free service to providers that delivers Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) from payers who fund the service. Following a fast online enrollment, providers are able to download HIPAA 835 ERAs and auto-post the information in Practice Management or Patient Accounting Systems, eliminating the need to key remittance data off of paper advices. • Participation by Invitation. A provider is able to participate in the PaySpan Health service if one or more payers have identified the provider as a candidate for the service. A Registration Code is created for an identified provider (one for each payer), and this code is required to conduct the online enrollment process. If you have already received an invitation from a payer containing a Registration Code, please go to www.payspanhealth.com and complete the fast enrollment process.



• Unsure of Qualification. If you have not received an invitation from a payer, it is possible that your organization still qualifies, as a payer using PaySpan Health may have identified you as a candidate and generated a Registration Code but not delivered an invitation. To determine if this is the case, please click here to complete a short Provider Request form that will go directly to the Payformance Provider Services team. They will determine your status, and if a Registration Code exists they will deliver the information to enable your enrollment process.



• Refer Payers. The PaySpan Health service connects payers who implement the solution to invited providers for the purpose of automating claim settlement. If you are a provider already using PaySpan Health, you may want to encourage other payers to implement the solution.
